Pastrami Stromboli
Ingredients
1 lb. premade pizza dough
1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
¼ lb. pastrami, sliced
¼ lb. provolone cheese
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. poppy seeds
Directions
Serves 2
Preheat oven to 400 °F and line a sheet tray with parchment.
Roll out the pizza dough, then brush the Dijon mustard on the dough. Top with sliced pastrami and provolone cheese. Roll up into a log the long way, then transfer to the prepared tray with the seam facing down. Brush the Stromboli with the egg wash and top with the minced onion and poppy seeds.
Bake for about 22 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool for about 5 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
