P.L.T (Pastrami, Lettuce & Tomato)

Our spin on an old favorite, the bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich, should become a new classic. Reubens, watch out! You don’t need rye bread and mustard for this winning combination!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread, toasted

  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise

  • 6 oz thinly-sliced Nations Best®Bottom Round Pastrami

  • Lettuce leaves

  • 2 slices ripe tomato

Directions

Serves 1

  1. Heat Nations Best®pastrami slices in a large skillet over medium heat, until crispy

  2. Spread one side of each slice of toast with mayonnaise.

  3. Lay the pastrami over the mayonnaise on one slice and top with lettuce and tomatoes.

  4. Cover with the second piece of toast, mayonnaise side down. Cut in half and serve immediately.
